….I had a dream. In this dream, I said no to something, to somebody. I said no and I acted. With method. And with an absolute determination. Serene and invincible.
I listed a little original painting in my shop called "River Walk". It’s one of my older pieces and it needs a good home.
A feisty young lady decided to go for a summer walk along a river, carrying a basket of golden eggs. She stops to stand on a stone in the middle of the water, smokes a pipe full of ghosts, and takes in the day. Birds fly overhead, and flowers burst into bloom around her. The wood grain in the background transforms into tall hills in the mist.
As always, I used upcycled wood and stained it with blackberries and ink.
Deep, deep crush ! I am in love with Rebecca Artemisa work. It is so nice to wake up and make such a beautiful discovery. I look forward to buy some prints….but which ones ?
